Really good Stay with Amazing Views
The room was cosy and beautifully decorated. Dining was a highlight, fantastic food at the Claret Jug and good atmosphere. Take time to explore the scenic grounds. It's a must!

the breakfast was tasty with the last evenings steak beanoise sauce and also french toast and we spent evenings in the main bar on-site. the hotel's location was remote, adjacent to the leisure centre.

We had a DECENT stay and will be back, truly enjoyed it. The staff was willing to help with planning our trip. The hotel's location was remote, in a lovely panelled restaurant.

Nice place with great amenities like the fitness centre, indoor swimming pool, and excellent bar lounge area. I remember the kind attitude of the staff towards my elderly parents during our first stay. Highly recommend! I'm coming back for Christmas.

Beautiful situation, luxurious hotel
Although our room rate on this occassion was good for a 5* hotel ,hence why we booked, the price of food and beverage in the bars and restaurants was ridiculous. It cost me over £4 just for a cup of coffee and I had to wait a long time to get it as I had to ask to be served as they hadnt noticed me arrive.

We ate in the nice restaurant at both the Scots bar and the Grill dining room which was reasonably priced. Plus it had a magnificent view over the marina and loch. The location was marvellous and peaceful, just a short walk away from Sea Life Centre. Supermarkets and gift shops were right next door.

Breakfast. Amazing pastries!!!
Lovely rooms, bar, great pool area and gym. Beautiful setting and views. Some information on the website is a bit misleading as the Spa is actually a car trip from the hotel and the rooftop infinity pool is part of the spa, not the hotel though the pool at the hotel is lovely. Meals at The Grill are very expensive with limited options and you pay extra for any potatoes or veg on top of this! The cheapest wine in The Boathouse and The Grill at £27 seemed a very overpriced Shiraz/Grenache. I would reccommend B&B as good value for money.

service is a little slow resulting in queues.

The last time I stayed at this hotel was 10 years ago. It was a struck off my list due to a very poor standard of room and service. This time however I have to say it has been firmly added to my list, in fact it is now above the likes of Gleneagles! most enjoyable was Martin Wisharts & Spa.
Lack of seating outside in the gardens. I know Scotland is not known for good weather but when you do get the glorious weekend as we had, it would be nice to enjoy a drink or bite to eat outside. Very minor point!!

beautiful views near balloch park and loch lomond shores
Staying here was fantastic as we enjoyed the beautiful hotel overlooking the lake and the great variety of restaurants available nearby. While the rooms were beautifully decorated, the staff communication could use some improvements.

The luxury and the friendliness of the staff as well as the scenery.
Feel the cost of the drink and food was quite expensive.
